Bobby MacLaughlin's 'Rocks'

All my own work!!

I needed about three tons of rock for the foundations of an apple store, and couldn't get any delivered in small enough quantities. So there was this old stone wall adjoining my house and not doing anything useful: Two foot thick, eight foot high and about ten foot in length before it turned into the dividing wall between me and the next door neighbours'. Some of the rocks in it were enormous, they weighed more than I do. I took it apart by hand and on my own, using a crowbar and lumphammer; and I feel very proud of having been able to do this. There is now a small glasshouse where it stood, and I got the neighbour's part of the old wall nicely repointed so she's happy with it as well.
