Grafting Course

We will be running a grafting course as part of the ongoing training for our FAS team in early March - assuming the sap will be rising. We will start with a training day on Tuesday 7th March and then have a full week of grafting starting Monday 13th March.

The subjects covered will be selection of rootstocks, apical wedge grafting, whip and tongue grafting, rind grafting, planting and care of maiden stock.

As well as making this course available to our FAS trainees, there will be a limited number of places available to interested members of the general public.

The course fee will be £25 per person. This covers the introductory day (Tuesday 7th) and any two days grafting experience in the week Monday 13th to Friday 17th.
